Prior to founding Point64 in early 2024, Justin was employed as a Vice President and Senior Underwriter with SiriusPoint in Bermuda. He focused on a range of entrepreneurial underwriting activities within the financial risk and specialty markets, as well as engagement across the company's strategic investing and asset allocation initiatives. A key area of activity was structured and idiosyncratic credit risks.
Having worked across the public capital markets, private equity and venture capital industries since 2000, Justin transitioned into (re)insurance in early 2014 when he joined a Chubb subsidiary in Bermuda, focused on underwriting political and sovereign credit risk for sophisticated financial investors in emerging markets. Prior to this, Justin worked as an investor, banker and advisor, including stints in London and Dubai with Morgan Stanley, Legatum (a multi-billion family office) and as an entrepreneurial co-founder of his own specialist private equity business backed by FAMA Holdings of Saudi Arabia.
Earlier in his career Justin spent a few years retained by the ruling family of Saudi Arabia, based in Riyadh, Geneva and Boston. He has extensive international experience and relationships, spanning N. America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
Justin holds an MBA in finance and entrepreneurship from the Said Business School, University of Oxford, where he was awarded the Roland Berger prize. His first degree was in Natural Sciences from the University of Durham, where he also served as a Pilot Officer Cadet with the Royal Air Force.
